it doesn’t happen often, but sometimes you lose some data you are working on, such is the case of today’s writing missive that actually was one of the few documents I liked with these 10-minute missives – post brainstorm. it was the continuation of how we got to a place where we seem to be diluting and not distilling our idea of quality. maybe the document and the thoughts ran away, “we can’t let him find us…he actually wrote something good.”
just bear with me, as I am slogging through a pile of receipts and wondering what the mushrooms folks are doing and/or want to do. as humans, we all have great strengths and great weaknesses – some become habits and it is so hard to change. it is like last night I was explaining this online course in communication and relationships I am taking and how most of what happens is simply probably miscommunication, misunderstanding or mistaking something – and our human emotional flaws blow it up to something far bigger than it ever was.
to me, I was excited to learn and hear all this as I do tend to not really get the normal day to day conversational style about stuff I hear in public spaces. then again, I also don’t get why people watch so much tv or entertainment. of which…I just remembered what I was writing about yesterday with the vanishing posts. I also lost an entire excel spreadsheet too. so, I am thinking “what exactly did happen?”
so, I will recreate some work. that is never fun, but it really has slowed down a great deal as computer technology has advanced.
then again, I would like to think I was dreaming…. but I look at the piles of paper and seemingly missing files and go, “no, you were not dreaming. time to rebuild the work.”
no fun. but I guess I am fitting into the way things work here…repeat often and go in circles. the last sentence is a bit of satire as I am more upset with myself right now than anything.
mystery solved, I just remembered when some software upgraded and I had to force quite the Microsoft suite of products…at least it is consistent…the issue is a Microsoft product. &#$(%*
