A part of me gets a bit sad as well as sick to my stomach when I see where the three Abrahamic religions are heading and sucking much of the world down the path of death and destruction. If we aren’t killing each other with bullets and rockets, we sling words of hatred that build up walls so thick that only god himself coming down to the planet himself to rescue his creation will take down the walls our “holy and righteous” actions have cause to hurt each other.
Does anyone really believe this is what the creator of the universe would want? Or is it more like the creator of the universe had a pretty good idea with love and man mucked it up?
The confounding part to mankind is that we seem genetically confused with the concept of unconditional love. Instead, we have conditions on what we perceive is love between one another. God doesn’t.
If you think about the sheer size and scale of the known universe and then realize there is a lot of unseen and unknown. Last i checked there are 5 proven mathematical dimensions and then another 3-4 theoretical dimensions that exist beyond the three dimensions & senses man can see.
So why does man think himself so special? My only guess is that In the holy world, it appears a few folks said, “this is the path!” and each decided to make up and follow and believe something different. God didn't change. People seemed to change God.
The irony is that each some of the main religions of the world has the same starting point. The same patriarch in Abraham.
If one has the capacity for unconditional love, there probably is the capacity in the universe for unconditional darkness and evil. When I see each of the three Abrahamic groups praying, I wonder, “What are we all praying for?”
Is it, “God, please protect us, and smite anyone different than us, but remember to bless only us!”
The one thing that really had to come off with the seeking of the spiritual world is the land of religious legalism. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all loaded with it, each with a different set of rules, laws, and regulations.
In the spiritual realm, I wager God might be getting pretty lonely, perhaps even sad, with how man is behaving. Perhaps he is getting tired of each hearing each group badmouth the other? He waits for someone to talk to him beyond the scripts of legalism
God doesn’t need man. He keeps giving us chance after chance to get a clue with each other. I am sure he has some other amazing creations within the few trillion stars and several billion galaxies.
Why is man so busy killing off each other with actual weapons and a barrage of words and thinking this is something “good" or an act of "holiness?"
Evil has a funny and slick way of working. It can take a mans mind, twist and idea just a little bit from the truth and have one to believe what they are doing is right. Perhaps one learns more about discernment by making stupid mistakes and having God forgive and love you. Men, tend to be more simple and get rid of that which is different or hurts them. Tis easier that way, you don't have to grow inside. No need to look at yourself, just rationalize and say, "they were bad!"
Can mankind take a moment, The Jew, Christian and Muslim sit down together and pray to god and take a moment and ask, “Is killing each other off what the creator of all wants?” Can we then wait and listen?
Right now evil is playing everyone like a fiddle, having us become hard, unforgiving and blind to believe that all the religious bloodletting is somehow righteous and good?
Our egos and pride are too busy working that if the creator of the universe, god, showed up, we probably wouldn’t even notice him. I dare say someone would kill him because he was different.
Reporter: “why did you shoot God?”
Person: “Well, I never saw anything like him. He was really weird. Every time i got near him i felt different...like i was loved just for being me. It was too uncomfortable for everyone to take. He was simply too good."
Reports: "So you just shot?"
Person: "Yes, he was different."
If pure love (god) showed up on earth in pure form of unconditional and undiluted state. I dare say all of us would be dropping our heads in shame. Jew, Christian, and Muslim. we would probably all melt.
