There are five unrelated projects I have to flush out today. At least two of the items are somewhat linked with the lab and Agrowvillage with biomass power. I finally found the right person in the county where the lab will be built in Colorado to talk to – all it took was the county road builders asking everyone for permission to the turnoff to the property to store equipment.
They are still fixing the road that was washed out last year where more than a year of annual rainfall fell in two days. I still marvel that I was inside a tent the entire storm. Thanks again to Eureka Tent for having such knowledgeable sales people that kept pushing for the better tent.
The rest of the day will be mainly normal business ideas and problems for people and then one “fun” project where I get to create a brand and conceptualize stores and other interesting merchandising needs. Maybe this will be one of the ideas that occasionally comes out better than I imaging in my mind. It is fun when you get really excited at the problem and the solution potential that is not in the “norm” of most business.
So today you get an image from I am guessing a year ago. It is a corner near Korea-town and the empire state building near the hotel. If you like food, the entire street, I think it was 32nd between 5th and 6th was loaded with Korean influences food. There was a place called ichi-umi that was a really nice all you can eat buffet. The most important place to visit was my re-supply run of single source coffee beans from stumptown roasters in the ace hotel which is a few blocks south around 29th street.
Those are the beans I took the time to hand grind, prepare is as if working a science experiment. These beans were so unique, I would prepare only one cup at a time and savor.
Too bad stumptown doesn’t ship to Switzerland.
